ArtLEDge (Art Leading Integration through Education) is a curriculum development model that focuses on facilitating learning experiences through non-traditional Contemporary Art. Curriculum focuses on creating understanding of artwork through specific rubrics designed to lead the learner into analytical engagement and simultaneous use of their inherent “visual” and “verbal” language skills.
In particular, ArtLEDge focuses on enabling Primary and Secondary Educators to use art as the “inception” rather than just the “conclusion” of their lesson planning; giving them a powerful way to teach to multiple content simultaneously, or to enrich their current curriculum.
